Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) is generally regarded as the oldest instrumental technique for elemental analysis, tracing its origins to the mid 19th century. This is still the case today. In June we will be holding free Webinars about the history and design of the the Hybrid Optic which is the heart of the high performance metal analyzer SPECTROLAB.
